Steven Goff has an update to the Claudio "El Piojo" Lopez story that he posted earlier today that I wrote on.
According to one source that Goff spoke with, "I think it's going to happen." Another telling sign is the fact that Wizards coach Curt Onalfo had "no comment." Not a denial as you might expect if there was nothing to this rumor, but a no comment. Something is definitely up.
The more I think about it, the more I'm excited about this move. Lopez would bring some name recognition in soccer circles, and it will be interesting to follow this story. He'd also bring a much needed scoring punch to the Wizards front line.
