While Jason Hernandez will be sitting out two games for his elbow on Teal Bunbury, Bunbury didn't escape with nothing for his elbow on Tim Ward. Bunbury has been suspended for 1 game and fined $250 for his elbow on Ward that led to Hernandez's retaliatory elbow. Bunbury's elbow came on one of KC's free kicks that was scored on but called back. While going for the ball and trying to lose his marker, Bunbury elbowed Ward in the face. Ward stayed down for a few minutes after the elbow. Bunbury will now miss this Saturday's game against New England, a virtual must win for KC to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Overall, probably a justified suspension after seeing his elbow on Ward.
