Most Capped Sporting KC Players

With Sunil Chhetri still technically a member of Sporting KC and India getting ready to kick off their AFC Asian Cup campaign tomorrow against Australia, I figured it was a good time to update the list of most capped players in a Wizards uniform. There's been no change at the top of the list, as Josh Wolff and Jimmy Conrad are the top players on the list. Roger Espinoza has a very good chance in the near future of becoming the most capped foreign national team player for KC as he's currently only 1 cap behind Trinidad and Tobago international Gary Glasgow.

As for the 2010 international year, KC saw 8 players win caps for their national team through out the year, tying the 2006 season for the most player appearances in a year. Players won 35 caps this year, the most since the 2006 season when 40 caps were won. Only 2 of those caps were won by US players as Jimmy Conrad got his last international cap against Honduras in January and Teal Bunbury got his first against South Africa. The five international goals scored was also a record for a single calender year. Chhetri contributed the most to that list with his 3 goals in a rare India win this year. The other two came from Stephane Auvray in one of the Digicel Caribbean Cup legs and Roger Espinoza who scored against the US back in January of 2010.

I am still trying to find information on Digital Takawira's caps for Zimbabwe while with KC, but have been able to find the information or get it through contacting different associations and even attempting to contact the club he's coaching now. I was able to get an update on the number of caps the late Uche Okafor won for Nigeria while playing for KC. Here's the list, bolded players are still on the roster.
