Kings Season Ends

The Kansas City Kings first season in the PASL ended today with an 11-6 loss at nationals, to the host team, the Fredericksburg Generals, 11-6. The Kings fell behind early, going down 8-0 in the first half to the Generals, even though the Kings had numerous chances, they could not convert. They mounted a comeback in the second half, scoring 6 unanswered points, while missing other opportunities to grab another goal making the score 8-6. With 1:30 left in the game, the team pulled their keeper to play with a 6th attacker, but were unable to find the net. The Generals were able to grab an empty net 3 point goal late in the game to finish the Kings title hopes, and sending the Kings to only their second loss of the season. Overall it was a very productive first season for the Kings here in Kansas City.

Good first season for the team, I hope the return next year and play for awhile. My son and I enjoyed the games very much.

Me too, very exciting game - I miss the back in the day Comets though of like 10 years ago. Now that was some entertainment.
