Wizards Trade Victorine

The Wizards have made a roster move before the MLS roster freeze today. The Wizards have traded midfielder Sasha Victorine to Chivas USA for allocation money. Victorine, in his 9th year in the league was in his fourth season with the Wizards. He'd appeared in 16 games, 12 of them starts, scoring 1 goal. Victorine had missed much of the preseason due to the birth of his daughter, and now returns to California, where he started his career with the Galaxy. He finished his Wizards career with 106 league games played, 96 starts, and 13 goals. In all competitions, he'd played in 114 games, 102 of them starts, scoring 15 times.

Ives is reporting that the allocation money is worth $125,000.

this was expected. Im glad to see him go. He took up a good chunk of money in the cap.
