KC Welcomes Beckham and the Galaxy

Tomorrow afternoon, the Wizards return to Arrowhead Stadium to take on David Beckham and the Galaxy at 4 pm. Both team's are struggling right now, as since the all star break, the two are a combined 1-7-5. LA hasn't won since June. KC's only win since the all star break was a game against Chivas USA that they probably should have only gotten a point out of. So tomorrow's game could turn out to be really ugly as neither team is playing great soccer right now.

Sasha Victorine and Matt Marquess look to be missing another game for the Wizards due to injury and illness, and Aaron Hohlbein looks like he could join them on the injury list. It looks like besides those 3, there are other changes that look like they'll be made to the team's lineup according to The Back Post. In fact there could be a big change if another write up from The Back Post turns out to be true. Me? I'm not sure I can see Onalfo not starting Claudio Lopez tomorrow, I think the lineup in the first link to The Back Post will be close to what we go with.
Hartman
Leathers - Conrad - Wahl - Harrington
Gomez - Arnaud - Jewsbury - Lopez
Thompson - Wolff

PREDICTION - Both teams desperately need a win if they have any hope of making the playoffs this year, so it could get very very interesting tomorrow. LA will have their big stars Beckham and Donovan in the house, so no international absences to deal with for them. Can the Wizards pull it off? Sure, but I have my doubts that they will, the team is just not playing that well right now. The good news, though, is that LA has been averaging 2 goals allowed a game, so the Wizards certainly have a shot.

KC - 2 (Lopez, Thompson)
LA - 2 (Donovan, Buddle)
