Hohlbein is with the U-23 Squad

A little under a week ago, I reported that the Kansas City Wizards would have two players represented at the U-23 camp. I had said that both Michael Harrington and Aaron Hohlbein were brought into the U-23 camp that would be taking place this month. Then came the 22 player roster from the US Soccer federation, that have Harrington on it, but not Hohlbein.

Today comes even more news. Apparently Hohlbein IS with the U-23 team in their December camp. According to Nick Green over at 100 Percent Soccer, Hohlbein was brought in as a replacement for Columbus Crew player, Eddie Gaven. Here is the report from US Soccer about it, that I missed on November 30th. The squad will depart this Saturday for their tour of China, including two games against China's U-23 squad. Congrats to Hohlbein once again on making the roster.

The only reason amazing Aaron Hohlbein is not on the roster for the U-23 squad is only because the coach wanted a certain style. Aaron has such a great talented style and should have definantley been chosen to proceed with the U-23 squad!
