Mexican Clubs Chasing Bravo?

The early offseason continues to be fairly busy for Sporting KC fans to follow, and continues today with news out of Mexico on one of the Wizards designated players, Omar Bravo. Bravo was apparently down in Mexico today visiting his old club, Chivas de Guadalajara. Bravo is apparently interested in training or playing with a team while MLS is in it's offseason. It was just a visit but has fueled some speculation about Bravo returning to Chivas during the winter. That's not the only rumors on Bravo making the rounds though. Two other clubs in the Guadalajara area are interested in bringing in the former Mexican international. Rumors out of Mexico today that both Atlas and Estudiantes Tecos are interested in Bravo.

The Atlas rumors apparently aren't that high at this point, but if the article is to be believed, the team has held talks with Bravo. No word on whether that was a potential permanent deal or just a loan deal while KC is in the offseason.

The Tecos rumors though seem to be currently active. Tecos is looking to improve their team ahead of the Clausura in the Mexican league. One of those players they are looking to bring in is Bravo. Based on the article it kind of comes off like they would be trying to get him on loan for the Clausura. According to the article, apparently the price to bring in Bravo is what scared off Atlas.

It'll be interesting to see what if anything comes of either of these two rumors. I'm sure that Bravo is very interested in not sitting out the winter entirely. So he'll be looking to at least go and train with a foreign club, probably in Mexico. I'm sure it'd be hard for many Chivas fans to picture the Chivas legend playing for or even training at one of the other Guadalajara clubs, but that certainly looks like a possibility.

again in my personal opinion I think that Omar Bravo is not a talented player, he is a strong player in the midfield but he is not outstanding, just a regular player and I think he would stay in the MLS
