Open Cup Qualifier at BVDAC

Kansas City's US Open Cup qualifier on Wednesday, May 25th against the New England Revolution now has a location. The game will be at the Blue Valley District Athletic Complex. KC has played at BVDAC multiple times over their history, going 4-1 at the location, including 2-0 in KC's 2004 run to the US Open Cup. KC hasn't played at the location since a 2-1 win over the Des Moines Menace in the 2006 Open Cup. A span of almost five years by the time KC takes the field against the Revolution. KC's only loss at Blue Valley came in 2001 when they lost to Chicago. Tickets will go on sale for season ticket "members" tomorrow in a pre-sale.

Didnt we play Seattle there the week before our 07 season started...IFRC it was the debut of Carlos "Candyass" Marinelli.

Oops - sorry about the swear word!

Yes, but it wasn't a competitive game.

Marinelli actually didn't play with the first team that game against Seattle, he played with the reserves against Evansville (I believe they were the opponent)

I was already told by my ticket rep that this game would be at umkc. I was only told this because I'm the one who asked. It would also be nice if the team/front office would actually send out emails to the season ticket holders with this info. Not all season ticket holders scour big soccer/blogs/twitter for this type of information. I've been pretty disappointed re: general lack of communication with season ticket holders with events and presales for the season ticket holders. Lots of good things are going on with the team, but it isn't an excuse to slack off when it comes to customer service? maybe I'm the only one having issues...

Email to season ticket holders hasn't gone out yet, I know I haven't gotten mine. I do agree with the fact that sending it out the day of the pre-sale (tomorrow) is pretty short sighted though.
