Thursday After Stats

Here are stats from yesterday's US Open Cup game.

That's the first time we've won by 5 goals since our 6-1 win over Des Moines in the US Open Cup on 8/3/2005.

That's the first time we've scored 5 against an MLS team since we beat Dallas 5-1 on 7/3/2004

The last time we beat an MLS team by 5 goals was 4/29/00 AT Colorado, 5-0.

Chance Myers' second goal was the 50th scored in Open Cup play (including all qualifiers).

Myers and CJ Sapong are the only players in Wizards history to have multiple goals in Open Cup qualifiers.

Michael Harrington made his 9th US Open Cup appearance, tying him with Josh Wolff and Jack Jewsbury for 7th on that list.

Eric Kronberg made his 6th US Open Cup appearance, tying him with Jonathan Leathers, Ryan Pore, Alex Zotinca, Francisco Gomez, Bo Oshoniyi, and Chris Brown for 12th on the list.

Kronberg and Harrington both made their 6th US Open Cup start, tying them with Leathers and Diego Gutierrez for 10th place on that list.

It was Kronberg's 3rd shutout of his career, tying him with Chris Snitko and Garth Lagerwey for 6th on that list.

It was Kronberg's 3rd shutout in the Open Cup, tying him with Oshoniyi for the most shutouts in the Open Cup.
