Wizards Return to Action

After 17 days off, the Wizards will return to action on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium against New England in a rematch of the last game the Wizards played on August 2nd in New England. The Revolution come into this game having lost last night out in Colorado 3-0. That wasn't the only bad news for the Revs either, as Pat Noonan, who's been on a tear lately, left the game in the 29th minute, and could miss the game this Sunday in KC. The Wizards will hopefully be able to take advantage of the Revs and the short rest the same way DC United did against New England the last time they played a Thursday-Sunday schedule.

The Wizards should have their full lineup for this one, everyone seems to be healthy, including Scott Sealy who could see his first action in a while. Eloy Colombano could also make his first appearance for the Wizards on Sunday. With both of these two coming into the 18 man game day roster, I still expect the lineup to be the same that it's been the past few games.

Hartman
Jewsbury - Conrad - Garcia - Burciaga
Zavagnin
Victorine - Marinelli - Harrington
Arnaud - Johnson

Prediction
The Wizards have had time off to scout this game and prepare, 17 days is a long time to prepare. The Revs come in on 3 days rest, and having already flown half way across the country. This game should definitely be one the Wizards win, and if they have any hopes of the Supporters Shield they need to win this game.

KC - 2 (Johnson, Colombano)
NE - 1 (Twellman)
