Comets Sign Former MVP

The Missouri Comets continue to fill their roster, and they've added a big name to the roster, former indoor MVP, Byron Alvarez. Alvarez was the 2008 MVP of the NISL while playing with the Monterrey La Raza, where he scored 39 goals. He was also a member of La Raza's championship team last year in the MISL. Alvarez also has history in the outdoor game as he's played for the Metrostars, Charleston Battery, and Portland Timbers before moving indoors. From those that know more about the indoor than myself, this is a very big signing for the Comets, while Alvarez is 32, he'll provide the Comets with a consistent, proven goalscorer.

I was thinking/hoping Beasley. But this guy looks good, I just don't know anything about him.
