Catching up on some news on the Missouri Comets from this past week. First, the Comets schedule has come out (at least the dates), you can purchase home game tickets through Ticketmaster. You can go to the team's website and check out the schedule and see the first month. The Comets start with two games at home on Fridays against the Milwaukee Wave and Omaha Vipers, then go on the road for games against those same two teams. Speaking of the schedule, there are some changes coming to the scheduling process as only this week it was revealed that the Philadelphia Kixx would not be returning this year. Also finally official is that the Monterrey La Raza would not be returning either along with the Rockford Rampage, although it seems many people did not expect either one of those teams to be back. In fact, in some form Rockford will be back as another expansion team has been announced as Chicago will now be joining the league and will apparently have some of the Rampage players on their roster.
Finally, the Comets have reached a deal with Nike to be the apparel and equipment supplier for the team.
