International Day for Wizards Players

Two current Wizards players had games today with their respective national teams during the currently international window. Roger Espinoza and Honduras were up in Montreal to take on Canada. Espinoza started for Honduras and played 80 minutes getting a yellow card in Honduas' 2-1 loss to the Canadians. The game was delayed shortly after Espinoza subbed out due to lightning, but Honduras couldn't find an equalizer. Down in Florida, another Wizards defender was also starting for his national team. Shavar Thomas shook off a hamstring strain he picked up Saturday against Philadelphia to start to Jamaica in their friendly against Peru. The Jamaicans also fell in their friendly in Fort Lauderdale 2-1 on a late winner by Peru. Congrats to both of them on winning another cap for their national teams.
