Weekly Former Wizards Update

Time for another look at former Wizards and what they're doing now. I've decided to avoid posting preseason games for the moment, and will begin posting more players once their seasons start.

Indoor
Stephen Armstrong - Chicago Storm - The Storm lost to the Milwaukee Wave 6-2 on the Storm's return from a 3 week break.

Around the world
Eddie Johnson - Cardiff City - England - Came off the bench and played 1 minute in Cardiff's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Diego Walsh - Adelaide United - Australia - United did not play this week, they're next game is this Saturday against the Melbourne Victory.
Carlos Marinelli - Millonarios - Colombia - Played and scored in the semifinals of the International Cup on his debut with Millonarios. Played the full 90 minutes in the final against America de Cali, converting a PK in the PK shootout, that Millonarios won 4-2. The Copa Mustang season gets going this weekend.
Scott Sealy - Maccabi Tel Aviv - Israel - In his debut with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Sealy came off the bench and got the game tying assist against Maccabi Haifa.
Matt Taylor - TUS Koblenz - Germany - Dressed but did not play in Koblenz' 0-0 draw with RW Oberhausen.

In other news about former Wizards, Ryan
Caugherty, who was drafted by the Wizards in 2005 in currently on trial with the Seattle Sounders. Caugherty recently played in the USL and in the Romanian second division.

Johnson is wrecking his career. Speed is his main weapon, every year on the bench overseas will erode this. When he realizes the MLS is the best place for him, the speed will be gone. Then what?
