Former Wizards Update

The seasons continue for former Wizards, while Yura Movsisyan started his league season this past week, while Herculez Gomez started playing with his new club Pachuca. As always, if you have an update on a former Wizards player, please let me know. Here's the rest of your former Wizards update.

MLS
Preston Burpo - New England - Out with injury
Adam Cristman - DC United - Came off the bench and played 9 minutes in DC's 1-0 loss to Seattle. Did not dress in DC's 2-1 loss to LA.
Nick Garcia - Toronto - Started and played 90 minutes in Toronto's 2-1 loss to Philadelphia.
Luis Gil - Real Salt Lake - Did not dress in RSL's 2-0 loss to Dallas.
Taylor Graham - Seattle - Did not dress in Seattle's 1-0 win over DC.
Kevin Hartman - Dallas - Started and played 90 minutes, recording the shutout in Dallas' 2-0 win over RSL.
Will Hesmer - Columbus - Started and played 90 minutes, recording the shutout in Columbus' 2-0 win over New York.
Chris Klein - LA - Did not dress in LA's 2-1 win over DC.
Claudio Lopez - Colorado - Came off the bench and played 28 minutes in Colorado's 1-1 draw with KC.
Rauwshan McKenzie - Real Salt Lake - Dressed but did not play in RSL's 2-0 loss to Dallas.
Kurt Morsink - DC United - Dressed but did not play in DC's 1-0 loss to Seattle. Dressed but did not play in DC's 2-1 loss to LA. Started and played 90 minutes in DC's 2-0 win over Harrisburg in the US Open Cup.
Scott Sealy - San Jose - Did not have a league game this week.
Carey Talley - DC United - Dressed but did not play in DC's 1-0 loss to Seattle. Came off the bench and played 21 minutes in DC's 2-1 loss to LA. Started and played 90 minutes in DC's 2-0 win over Harrisburg in the US Open Cup.
Tyson Wahl - Seattle - Did not dress in Seattle's 1-0 win over DC.
Alex Zotinca - Chivas USA - Did not dress in Chivas' 2-1 loss to Puebla in SuperLiga. Did not dress in Chivas' 1-1 draw with Houston in SuperLiga. Did not dress in Chivas' SuperLiga game against Pachuca.

Doug DeMartin - Portland - Did not have a game this week.
Kevin Friedland - Minnesota - Started and played 90 minutes in Minnesota's 1-1 draw with Puerto Rico.
Pat Healey - Baltimore - Came off the bench and played 10 minutes in Baltimore's 2-1 win over Montreal.
Neal Kitson - Rochester - Started and played 90 minutes in Rochester's 1-0 loss to Carolina.
Amir Lowery - Carolina - Came off the bench and played 22 minutes in Carolina's 1-0 win over Rochester.

Chris Konopka - Waterford United - Ireland - Dressed but did not play in Waterford's 1-1 draw with Finn Harps.
Yura Movsisyan - Randers FC - Denmark - Did not dress for Randers 3-0 win over Gorica in the Europa League. Came off the bench and played 45 minutes, scoring a goal in Randers 3-2 win over Br√łndby.
Khari Stephenson - Aalesund - Norway - Did not dress in Aalesund's 1-0 loss to IK Start.

Join us at the first Annual Street Soccer USA Open Cup!

Friday, July 30, 2010 to Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Washington Kastles Tennis Stadium on 10th and H Street in Washington DC!

16 Teams will compete for the chance to be crowned the first ever Street Soccer Open Cup Champions.

Schedule of play will be divided into 4, 2-hour time slots, with 3 games guaranteed. Matches will consist of 4v4 competition, adhering to Street Soccer rules of play. The winner will receive a trophy and the title Street Soccer Open Cup Champions.

This evening event will also include live entertainment and raffle prizes, Food, beverages and Street Soccer gear will be for sale at the venue.

Registration Requirements

* $250 per team
* Minimum of 5 players, maximum of 10 players (men, women, coed)
* Each team member must be 18 years or older
* Each team must assign a Team Captain for registration and correspondence purposes

Entrants receive

* Free courtside seat passes during the Street Soccer USA Cup
* Discount on SSUSA t-shirts

I read Khari Stevenson is on trial in MLS somewhere. I forget where. SJ maybe?
