Paulo Nagamura's goal was his 10th in league play in his MLS career.

At 20 years and 56 days, Oriol Rosell is the 3rd youngest player to score a league goal for KC. He knocked Chris Brown at 22 years 31 days out of the top 10.

Rosell became the 4th youngest in all competitions to score a goal, knocking Eddie Johnson at 22 years 1 day out of the top 10.

Dom Dwyer made his first league appearance for Kansas City.

Jimmy Nielsen got his 15th league win of the season, tying him with Tony Meola for the most in a non-shootout season.

The win was the 52nd in all competitions under Peter Vermes, tying him with Ron Newman for the second most by a KC coach.

In 89th minute Matt Besler passed Mark Chung for minutes played in league play, Besler finished the game with 8,271 minutes in league play.

Besler made his 105th start in all competitions for KC, tying him with Bo Oshoniyi for 17th on that list.

It was his 91st in league play, breaking his tie with Kevin Hartman for 20th on that list.
