Reserves Fall in Houston

The Swope Park Rangers got back to their reserve league season yesterday against the Houston Dynamo down in Houston.  Cam Weaver of the Dynamo scored both of the goals in the game.  The first in the 17th minute on a header from a Colin Clarke cross.  In the second half, goalkeeper Eric Kronberg earned himself a red card as he took down Weaver in the box.  League keeper Scott Angevine came off the bench and his first touch was to pick the ball out of his own net as Weaver scored to double the Dynamo advantage.

Two Sporting Juniors players made appearances in the game as Eduardo Moreno started and played  66 minutes, while Joey Piatczyc came on at half time for Neven Markovic.  It was both players' second reserve league appearance them after both had previously made substitute appearances.  The game also saw the return of the beloved Trialist 1.  He also brought his friends Trialist 2 and 3 with him for the game.  The loss drops the Rangers to 2-4-2 on the reserve league season with two games left, one at home vs Real Salt Lake and they finish on the road against Dallas.
