No Transfer for Espinoza

The English transfer window has now closed, and Roger Espinoza is still a Sporting KC player.  With interest from a number of clubs, including Wigan, there'd been speculation since the Olympics that Espinoza would make the move across the Atlantic to a European league some time during the summer transfer window.  Espinoza had stated that he'd be interested in a move to England, but for now he's going to stay in Kansas City.  This week Robb Heineman said that they would do everything they could to keep Espinoza here and happy.  The designated player phrase has been brought out more than once in conversations about a way to keep Espinoza here in the United States with Sporting.  With Espinoza out of contract at the end of the season it's going to be a battle for KC to keep Espinoza, but he will at least be wearing Sporting blue through the end of this season.

He missed the opportunity and he has to wait until next year but I think that he will do it great in England
