Conrad Appears for the US

Jimmy Conrad got his 27th cap earlier today coming on for Jonathan Spector in the 70th minute of the United States 3-1 loss to Denmark. The US led 1-0 at the half thanks to a Jeff Cunningham goal, but struggled right out of the game in the second half, giving up 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half. The game was a poor second half by the US, particularly defender Frankie Hejduk who played a part in all 3 of Denmark's goals. Most US fans hope this is the last time we see Hejduk in a US.

If player rates were real, like games rate them, Conrad probably wouldnt be in consideration for on of the SA2010 spots, however, this is real life were experence etc. comes into play and I trust Conrad as a CB back up more than the other choices, and in the end I think Bob does as well. I bet he is on the WC squad barring something happening before the summer.

Nice to see Frankie playing a part in giving up 3goals not only on the Club level(Crew v RSL) but also with the Nats.....you can't teach that. lol
