Bieler Moves to Belgrano in Argentina - Former SKC Wizards Update

For a while it appeared that Claudio Bieler would be headed back to North America this year. A number of rumors around were linking Bieler with a move to Dorados in the Liga MX. Instead it has come out today that Bieler won't be going to Mexico, but instead will just be switching clubs in Argentina, joining CA Belgrano. Bieler joins the club after having scored 14 goals last season for Quilmes.

In other news this week another former Kansas City player has joined the head coaching ranks. Former midfielder, Andrew Gregor has been named the head coach of the Portland Timbers 2 in the USL. Gregor had been serving as the assistant coach for the team last season as well as with the Timbers academy. He replaces Jay Vidovich, who left the Timbers 2 after the season to return to the college ranks taking a position at Pittsburgh. Gregor becomes the third player with KC connections to be coaching a USL team (not count Marc Dos Santos and the Rangers), joining Curt Onalfo and "Los Dos" and Jimmy Nielsen and the OKC Energy.
