Monday After Stats

At 35 years and 320 days, Jimmy Nielsen became the 3rd oldest player to ever appear in, or start a game for Kansas City in either league or all competitions.  He passed Peter Vermes, who was 35 years, 303 days for his last league appearance/start and was 35 years, 315 days for his last appearance/start in all competitions.

Neilsen made his 110th league start for KC, tying him with Jose Burciaga for 13th place on that list.

Kei Kamara made his 100th start in all competitions for KC.

Kamara scored his 11th away goal in league play for KC, tying him with Teal Bunbury for 6th on that list.

Matt Besler made his 114th league appearance for KC, tying him with Francisco Gomez for 17th on that list.

Besler made his 109th league start, breaking his tie with Diego Gutierrez for 15th on that list.
