Sportng KC Sign Jeferson as DP

The rumors last week out of Brazil have turned out to be true, as Sporting KC's "major player announcement" was the announcement of the signing of midfielder, Jeferson as a designated player. Jeferson has been signed on loan from his current club, Vasco da Gama. Jeferson will be called upon to pull the strings in the midfield for Sporting KC, to help the team get back into more of their early season goal scoring form. Jeferson has most recently suffered from some thigh issues, but hopefully he can come through that and become a solid contributor for KC. I'm still a little skeptical about this signing with the injury issues, but after the last two games against Richmond and Houston where KC showed an inability to break down defenses.

Jeferson becomes the teams third designated player all time, and the second this season, joining Omar Bravo.

You speculated in a previous post that Auvrey was out. Now, his name isn't even on the club roster. No press release, nothing for Stephane?

Nothing as yet on Auvray.

Curious about whether this changes Zusi's position or not. Do they move Graham back into the advanced defensive midfield or out right and bench Kamara?
