Sporting KC After Brazilian Midfielder Jeferson?

Sounds like one of the two players coming in on trial, mentioned by Robb Heineman has been made known. Word out of Brazil is that Vasco da Gama midfielder, Jeferson is on his way to Kansas City. The article out of Brazil loosely says that Jeferson would be on loan to Kansas City with the team and league having the option to buy the midfielder if he impresses. Looking at his history with his clubs throughout his career and the first thing that comes to my head is Carlos Marinelli. Seems like Jeferson has a long history of nagging injuries that have kept him out of many games. And while KC could use an attacking midfielder, I can't say that the thought of bringing in another injury prone midfielder to a physical league like MLS fills me with excitement over this potential signing. Things will start to heat up rumor wise though as the transfer window reopens for MLS teams on Friday.

The cold reality of it is that MLS doesn't have the money or prestige to pull top foreign talent, so we're left searching for the forgotten and underrated.

I'm more happy that the club is aware of it's faults and is trying to do something about them. Hopefully this guy is more Collin than Marinelli.

anyone can edit wiki, someone read the same article and decided to update their wiki page. Looks like someone added him to the KC page but someone else removed it. The joy of open source.

oh really?? I did not have idea about this; however, I think it would be a really good transfer for Sporting KC club, Jeferson as most of Brazilians are very good at soccer
