Four Former KC Players Involved in MLS Cup - Former SKC Wizards Update

With the conference finals now done, we have the two teams that have advanced to MLS Cup and among those two teams there are four former KC Wizards players on the teams. Columbus has three of the former players on the team, leading scorer, Kei Kamara and defender Tyson Wahl both play for Columbus while former KC forward, Josh Wolff is an assistant coach for the Crew. On the other side next week, Jack Jewsbury is on Portland and will be going for his first MLS Cup.

In other news, another former player that's now a coach, Bo Oshoniyi will be with the US U17 national team for their current camp. The East Tennessee State coach just finished his second season at the school, his first head coaching job after spending time at South Florida, Wake Forest, and Penn State.

This is a tough choice. I'm a huge Jewsbury fan and would love to see him win a cup. He's a guy (like Davy) I still wish he had found a way to hold onto.

Kamara is obviously key to Columbus success and is another great former Wizard who I would be happy to see win as well. Throw in Wolf and I might be leaning a little more towards the Crew.

Either way it should be a great final!

I am glad to see all of those guys continuing to succeed away from Kansas City.
