Sunday After Stats

In the 47th minute, Matt Besler passed Josh Wolff and moved into 12th place for league minutes played for KC. Then in the 77th minute he passed Jimmy Nielsen and moved into 11th place for minutes played. Besler finished the game with 11,511 minutes played.

Besler made his 127th start in league play, breaking his tie with Matt McKeon for 12th on that list.

Graham Zusi made his 129th league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Jimmy Nielsen for 13th on that list.

Zusi made his 97th start in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Sasha Victorine and moving him into a tie with Kei Kamara for 19th on that list.

Chance Myers made his 141st appearance in all competitions for KC, tying him with Francisco Gomez for 18th on that list.

Myers made his 119th appearance in league play for KC, tying him with Diego Gutierrez and Uche Okafor for 17th on that list.

The goal by Teal Bunbury is the fifth time a former KC player has scored in their first game against KC with their new team, joining Jose Burciaga (Colorado), Jimmy Conrad (Chivas), Scott Sealy (San Jose), and Sasha Victorine (Chivas).
