Whether due to a nagging injury or just poor form (or both), CJ was not the same player over the last couple of months. Putting him on the wing is never ideal, but he has the skills to play out there when necessary. It was nice to see him back to his old self last night. Hopefully he can build on this and be a big factor down the stretch. Bummer to see the end of the streak where the team always won when he scored, but I will take that over losing anytime.aletheistnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36669930.post-68135935918239649892012-09-15T19:01:45.018-05:002012-09-15T19:01:45.018-05:00I hope that Peterson's return marks the end of...I hope that Peterson's return marks the end of the 3 defensive midfielder formation.

I'd prefer Nagamura and Espinoza.

As long as Cesar stays in the defensive half of the field he is an asset. He gets himself and the team into trouble when he gets pulled out of position. That is essentially an alternative formation with an advanced center back.

I like to have that option off the bench and even as a starter depending on the match up.

Either way I will be happy to welcome Nagamura or Cesar to the bench.Nathan Martinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36669930.post-46240721553984079982012-09-15T18:45:03.109-05:002012-09-15T18:45:03.109-05:00Besler a four? They guy, due to terrible coaching, lost out on a ton of playing time to Teal. When he did get a start, it was out of position (more bad coaching) on the wing. Sapong brought to the game last night what he has always brings.

It was only one point, but that was the best this team has looked in MONTHS.bfoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06580248378880553869noreply@blogger.com
