It is pretty useless, really. I don't even see how it helps bring the "casual" fan to the sport.<br /><br />It seems to me that maybe if the MLS wants to continue celebrating its stars, then maybe it should copy the NFL's Pro Bowl example. Why not have an All Star game during the same weekend as MLS Cup? It would probably make it difficult if not impossible to match the MLS stars against a European club since the Euro club would be in season. But it might be a better solution for the players -- and maybe for the league.<br /><br />They could still take a mid-season break. And in that say two week break, some MLS teams could schedule their friendlies with Euro clubs.hartleynoreply@blogger.com
